Mark Appleton
Mark was asked to join PBNZ as a Trustee to help set up the charity. Mark’s previous experience as a Trustee in the New Zealand Mounted Rifles Charitable Trust has enabled a smooth transition from Charitable Trust to a fully registered Charity. As the Managing Director of successful company Mark has all of the business acumen needed to run a charity successfully.
Mark is also the Treasurer for PBNZ. Making sure everything is accounted for and reports to the other Trustees.
Mark spent time in the Canterbury Coastguard and attended several rescues, he was also the President of Canterbury Coastguard for a period of time.
Last year Mark was sent on a canoeing trip to Norway with the Curtis Palmer Project (the Police arm of PBUK) here Mark experienced the healing that adversity and hardship can bring about.
